These are key questions you need to consider when determining if a text is reliable or not.

·         Who has written the text?

·         What is the source of the text?

·         Who is the information written for (audience)?

·         Is the author supporting his/her points?

·         Does the author focus too heavily on opinions?

·         How well has the text been written?

I think that the support this point they do it by using statistics to show how bad the event was

The second text uses facts heavily whereas the guardian uses opinions more frequently

    The text is written quite formally as they are asking for money

The guardian is more reliable as a text because it is telling you about where the donations are trusted so It is trying to make you aware of what text is trustable

8)    Which text is less reliable and why?

The less reliable text is the email because it doesn’t give the details on who sent the email , the statistics are over exaggerated , and it persuades you to open a moneybrooker account
